I photographed many paintings during the NYC trip and this is an example. This painting was created by Henry Matisse. I think it is Chaple of Saint Joseph in Saint Tropez. Henry Matisse lived in Saint Tropez around 1904. The town was a fishing village at the time. This painting is hanging in Metropolitan Museum of Arts NYC.

Also at the Met museum is this sculpture surrounded by Jackson Pollock works. The sculpture is called Kouros. It was created by Isamu Noguchi. This Kouros is just a little bit more abstract than the ancient Greek Kouros from Naxos.😀😀. Jackson Pollocks' Number 28 from 1950 is here. Gertrude Stein told Ernest Hemingway that he should buy art instead of spending money on clothing and such. He was not wealthy at the time and neither am I. Ernest Hemingway did manage to buy some art works and I also am taking Gertrude Stein's advice to heart. I just have to find good art with Instagram and Pinterest friends to buy art that I can afford. Here is one such art work that I bought from @lillys_press. This artwork is called
